Blue rocks

Blue Rocks are not barred.

I have blue-barred rocks! I also have blue rocks and splash rocks.

Well so far the pens I have inventoried I have 14 Blue and Black Rock pullets. I will cull down to the ones with the best legs..... some have nice color.... some are too dark. I just LOVE the lacing on the blues too so pretty. I have one splash. She has the best legs but that might be because she is splash..... we will see.

Just wanted to share a picture of this beautiful Splash Rock cockerel that I hatched out this spring. He is 12 weeks old in this photo.



Wish I could keep him, but just don't have the room. He is for sale if anyone is interested. Prefer local,(I am in Michigan). PM me if interested.

I took my hens and cockerels for comment (which are not there yet). I find that it takes my pullets a good 18 month + to achieve their body shape.

He does look good, well done. I would like to see more yellow in his beck, but I can get him this year I would be happy.
