Sooooo excited! I have a question: I'm finishing up the feeder (yes, I am a last minute nightmare lol), bucket style. How big of a pvc opening should I use for the buff combs? Big combs need like 4"---I have smaller sizes here at home currently. I know bigger tends to be better with many things concerning chickens (coop size, run size, etc). Any input?

I have a trio of Buff Orpingtons that I purchased last year from Hink JC....hoping to compete next year at the state fair with the chicks I'm breeding this spring. I can't WAIT!!!

I don't have any really good photos - I have my Buff roo over 10 hens (only two are BO hens)....but he's still wearing out the girls feathers!

I LOVE this breed!!!

What nice Chickens. What is the breed of the chicken in the bottom right of the sixth picture? Thanks in advance!

Yesterday ended up being the first day out for our four buff girls.
I took the roosters out of the run and just left the two silkies.

Making new acquaintances

Everyone seems to be getting along fine and the girls seem to like their new home.
