Meg, we live at 8600ft but 10,000 is just "over there" and 14,000 is a pretty view in my window, so we kinda have an idea of what is going on "up in the high-country."
It is all in my backyard, so to speak. Still no snow worth much around these parts.
My friend down in TX (Austin area) got a hog yesterday. He hung it outside to freeze and his temps were colder than ours and still are, sadly for many. Those houses are not cold-ready at all!
