I forgot I had this from earlier this year right before spring. We got like 3 feet of snow!

The new flock experiencing their first snow. I rebuilt the coop in the background this summer (documented with a how-to article here). Pictured in the front are a Blue Copper Marans, a Blue-Laced Red Wyandotte, and a Red Sex Link.

Are your chickens fine??

Oh yes, they stay toasty warm in the coop and I checked on them multiple times per day. It was only 5 of them in there so although they were stir crazy, they had enough room to get by until the weather let up. They stayed cooped up for about a week while it continuously snowed and temps were down at like -20f. Here they are emerging after I got everything shoveled for them:
