Eye injury?

Hello, somebody gave me this duck the other day and I thought it would be great for the kids because it needs special attention and they're really good at taking care of animals, it is blind and I'm think it happened recently, my husband thinks it's sick, I am hoping maybe it's an injury and it gets better, I have not been able to find anything about eye diseases that look anything like what this duck has. Do y'all know of any disease this could be? Or do you think it's an injury and might possibly get better? Thanks guys

poor thing looks like blind in both eyes. I have a duck , blind in one eye from an injury, her blind eye looks similar.
I put a drop of colloidal silver in her blind eye once or twice a month or whenever she looks like its irritating her , I think it really is helping it at least feel better.
