Getting nervous about winter and a question about the chest of a goose.

My geese are just fine in the winter. Even during the storms and well below zero temps. I fed them their feed and some sprouted wheat grown to a couple of inches. They would go in the bank barn and nesle down in the straw. I have watched them bed down in snow and sleep as snow covers them up.

Glad to hear they are all doing well, I cannot tell you how much I love my lil Buff, she is so sweet and full of personality. I always have wanted Buffs and cannot believe I found one so close and the last one for the year too.
