Are her ligaments like bubblegum yet? And how do her sides look?
Her ligaments are very soft, but they have been for awhile… I don’t even know if I’m actually feeling the right spot though.😅 She looks sunken in around the ligaments area and she has since yesterday afternoon.

Here are some pictures of her sides, ligament area and her udder that I just took-

She’s been separated from my other goat, Nellie, for almost 6 days now, because she was isolating herself and wanted to be alone. Nellie is in the last picture, though, because she came in for a short, supervised visit.

This is my other goat, Nellie. She is supposed to be due March 14th, but there has been no progress or growth on her right side, and she has no udder. She was a nightmare to get bred.

She's still carrying too high, you'll see when her sides drop and she looks super flat that's your 24hr indicator.
The ligaments should be on or in between these two red lines. On a male they'd feel like pencils and on a female they'll be so squishy you can almost connect two fingers around her tailbone.

Once these are squishy you know you're within the week.
Her vulva looks swollen, if it's only just swelling I'd say she's going to drop them within 72hrs, but I've been fooled before by that swelling, some does stay like that for longer.

Udders are not a very dependable thing. I've known goats who were never pregnant who bagged up, goats who bagged up months before kidding, goats who bagged up three days before and were super congested, and goats who didn't bag up until after the kids were on the ground. Some of my does never even lose the udder.
