I thought I was going to sell my bantam cochins--

then they started laying, and as my first hens to start giving me eggs -- ain't no way they're going anywhere. Not because I need the eggs that badly. But because I got so gleeful that I find the idea of selling the miraculous little things appalling.

...I will say that the screaming her head off before laying this morning was disconcerting.
