Quote: Per kilo I do 0.5ml. One kilo is 2.2 pounds, so this is how I convert:
1 pound divided by 2.2 x 50mg per kilo divided by number of mg per ml = number of ml per
pound. Safeguard is 100mg/ml so the equation look like this:
1 / 2.2 x 50 /100 = 0.227ml per pound (round up to 0.23)
It would be so much easier if everyone got used to weighing in kilos, but many prefer pounds,
so that's why I give a per pound amount..
So to be clear, the amount of Safeguard I use is 50mg per kilo, which is 0.5ml per kilo.
The Peacock I treated was around 5 kg,so he got 2.5ml orally for 5 days. That dose will have
treated all worms.
