Finished my first build! Shou Sugi Ban finish on the siding with tinted polycarbonate roof. 8x10 footprint, 8x4 Coop. Eventually going to trim the roof panel and install gutters for a water catchment. Thanks for all the inspiration I got from this amazing forum.

Ok that should give you the idea of what we did.
I am getting 7 new chicks in May and making this their new home.

Here is mine and the run also. I do not have any predators that I am really worried about. I have dogs in the yard so they keep anything at bay until nightfall when they are safe in there coop.

My backyard coop

added a wall a/c for our hot summer ( the girls figured out to go in the coop when it got too hot outside)

yup..even have a ceiling fan. ( the bare wall)

my mural in progress....need to get working on it again. to finish it

Coop for new gals when they outgrow the indoor brooder. Good way for meet and greet until big enough to be with the "big" girls)
(was just a patio cover in the coop for shade underneath-figured out how to incorporate the space)
