Forkman45, if you have high-quality Saipans, please share pictures of them! It would be a great help for those starting out with the breed. Don't take it personally, but in the Internet age, anyone can claim to have the experience you have with the breed, but if there is some way you can document your knowledge, I for one will be quite eager to learn from you. And if you happen to offer some quality Saipans for sale some day, we will all be grateful.
As for the hatchery Saipans---- I thank God there are hatcheries that offer Saipans for sale. Hatchery chicks may not be the top quality, but the hatcheries help keep interest in rare and hard-to-find breeds alive. And if one has a flock of hatchery Saipans, and a good description of what the breed is supposed to be like, one can start breeding in the right direction while searching for higher quality birds.
Does anyone know about the Saipan Jungle Fowl offered by Purely Poultry hatchery? They are located in Wisconsin and since I am from that neck of the woods, I was interested.
