It was discovered by a gal in Montana who had bought birds from Legg's before. She called Brad and he sent his son to Montana to see this 'different' colored birds. The flock was free-ranging out in the fields but Brandon was able to catch them including a hen on a nest of eggs and brought them all home to KC, Mo.

When did the spotting start and what were the parents? Sorry if you already answered that for someone else, I was just so shocked to see a white pea with spots, I didn't think other patterns or colors could effect a white bird.
