They did, but it was cancelled. Reports say a 10cm tsunami struck the coast with no damage. It was a 6.9 magnitude earthquake off the northern coast.

I love Idaho because we just have tiny earthquakes and tornadoes. But temps on the other hand as well as forest fires. Most living creatures adapt to natural disasters if they are strong enough to live. South Dakota on the other hand lots of snow, extreme temps, tornadoes, floods depending on where you live, etc. I feel sorry for the Midwest getting so many natural disasters.
