That's a great theory, but mine took 27 weeks to lay. It was well worth the wait. She's the best layer I have - a jumbo egg almost every day ever since.

here is 2 i just got this week. id say they are 2 or 3 years old. i got them to go with my other 4. that i have had for over a year now. i had to trim one of their beaks. its bottom part of its beak was out past its top by alittle under an half of a inch. it was having trouble eating. they had ben debeaked at some point.

I have a couple debeaked ones also four of them, they came that way as started pol pullets when I got them, its amazing how it doesnt bother them, they arent debeaked bad at all ,I love em!! I ended up gettin a few more with beaks and the ones that are debeaked are still the alfas lol
