We received our three chics via USPS a few days ago. Two are Speckled Sussex, and the third was supposed to be Buff Orpington, but it obviously is not - maybe a Black Orpington? Anyway, we are thrilled with them.

Probably the breeder made a mistake, it is probably a Black Orp and he/she might have said Buff Orpington

I agree breeder probably couldn't tell them apart. Used to raise buff cockers but also had one solid Black. Yet, my mom could never figure out who that one was.
