The Front Porch Swing

Well then I am VERY glad you weren't an early starter! Simple math says you would have been 14 when LG and I were born. Not good.

Not unusual in one branch of the family.

Turning 50 in a month ... but today I feel about 80. tired, stiff and sore from work yesterday. Moving a 158 pound box of trampoline from pallet to cart, doesn't fit on the shelf (shelf above is too low), so back on cart and back onto pallet.

Kind of the opposite over here! First of 2 when I was 37, wife was 31. My parents were 25 when my older sister was born, 28 for me.

Then you get to my wife's side. LONG generations and lives. Her grandfather was born in 1861. Her father was the 5th of 5, born in 1925; 16 years after his oldest sister. He is doing quite well and will be 91 in a month. His surviving sister is 98, also getting along pretty well. The first sibling to die was his oldest brother at 91. Wife's mother was 29 and her father 36 when she was born, 101 years after her paternal grandfather, 1st of 3.
