True Blue Whiting info please?

I can hear them cheeping, but only one has started to externally pip. Will the chick be able to zip through the pointy side of the egg?

The first one that pipped through the pointy end hatched this morning. Now theres another 1 or 2 that have pipped on the pointy side also.

Second one is out. This one also popped out of the pointy end of the egg.

Oh my goodness! Please keep post updated with pics as they hatch and grow! I'm excited to see what you end up with. I love the wide variety of feather colors and types with clean faces or muffs both possible. I'm in TX also and purchased my 2 girls as pullets. I needed guaranteed hens and had a hard time choosing as they are so varied and beautiful.

We are up to 4 chicks now. The third one looks mostly black with yellow underside.

We are up to 8 chicks now. The last 2 eggs haven’t pipped or moved. There’s a nice assortment of colors. I’ll get some good photos once they fluff up.

Awww yay! Looks like you had a pretty decent hatch rate, and good variety of colors too!

Last one hatched. I helped him for the last part. He’s eager to get with yesterday’s chicks.
I ordered 12 eggs and hatched 9 chicks. I’m happy with that. Some of the chicks have a pretty bluish gray look to them. 1 or 2 have muffs.
