What ever fresh veggi I have left from dinner gets scrambled up with some eggs and I add wheat germ and a dash of olive oil...yes I cook for my chickens.....
It was Sunday. The hens, roos and guinea hens all got a loaf of bread from the bread store.
I only feed them once a week now. Sure was a beautiful day on the farm.
Monday through Saturday it is scratch, flock maintainance, oyster shell and egg mash/pellets.
A whole apple, apple cores and peels, mint leaves, and morning glory flowers! (It was Canadian Thanksgiving, so I made a few apple pies, hence all the appley goodness!
