What treat did your chickies get today?

Eggs Shells from breakfast, and left overs from our lunch...some salad and uneaten hotdogs and some pieces of bun and fruit salad.

I just now tossed them left overs from dinner, fajitas, salad, and brown rice. They love the cooked bell peppers & onions as well as the thinly sliced flank steak.

The biggest thing that I enjoy is calling the girls over hand feeding them.

Yes you may they love pineapple and it's loaded with vitamin c

Wild strawberries


Some grass seed, various weeds and a new layer of peat moss...they really liked the peat moss.

Mashed hard-boiled egg for the brooder chicks.
Cottage cheese and a chunk of sod for the newly outdoor chicks.
Strawberry tops, baby spinach, yogurt, and cottage cheese for the intermediate chicks.
BOSS, oatmeal bread, and hay flowers for the big pullets, plus they got to free range.

Lamb kidneys and liver was on the menu last night. They loved it!

Sesame and flax seeds for the brooder chicks, garden weeds for the outdoor chicks, and canned beans/oranges for the intermediate chicks and large pullets.
