What treat did your chickies get today?

Leftovers only stay in my fridge for 3 days. I'm a bit OCD about it. Then they go to the chickens and to my great dane, Daisy.

Me too.............but today they only had some BOSS and mealworms. Reworked their waterbucket nipples. Had one leaking more than usual so ordered another 5, replaced them all... Hope this does the job. It allows me to water less often which is better for me in this cold weather.

Veggie burgers, cooked carrots, green beans spaghetti noodles and meatballs. All mixed up, cut up with oats mixed in.

Macaroni noodles with peas and olives, and some peelings I was going to put in the compost.

warm oatmeal with raisins ...topped with some spring greens...wrapped them up with a tarp to keep the wind off of them. Put new water bucket in this morning with the nipples yesterday. It looked good today.

Oatmeal with greek yogurt, peanuts, dried currants, and shredded carrots for breakfast, then some mealworms and zucchini trimmings with dinner!

Some grapes. Some grated cheddar cheese. Oats. They will eat a piece of bread ONLY if I hold it for them. A tomato. Some lettuce.

Made the girls a toast and peanut butter sandwich and hung it up in a suet cage for them- I tried this once before and they popped the cage open the minute my back was turned! This time I tied it shut with a couple of tiny pieces of cotton twine. It's keeping them entertained so far, we'll see how long it lasts!
