Very thorough & nice pictures. I learned something new ... about not being allowed to feed meat scraps to UK chickens. I'll bet the dogs are happy!
This is a good over all how to for beginners, I think it is a little opinion based which is fine I used pellets in the beginning because there was less waste. Now I use the pellets in fermented feed for my layers.
