When you're ready to build bigger remember you need 4sqft/bird. Meanwhile, WOW! I love this! Great directions, well built, cute as can be. KUDOS!
Cute egg collector too.

Is there any ventilation? 3x3=9. 9÷4=2.5. This is big enough for 2 chickens, maybe 3. No pics of inside. No instructions. Is this an ad?

Very nice. IMHO it's small for so many chickens. I follow the standard ideal of 4sqft/bird inside and 10sqft/bird in the run.

Very pretty inside and out! Good size for your size flock. You have no ventilation. Openings at the bottom are drafts, not ventilation. Vents need to be above the birds roosting heads to allow moisture trapped in the warm air to escape. Otherwise it causes condensation leading to mold, wood rot, respiratory problems, wet chickens, and frostbite in cold weather. Also need to include more details.

Beautiful use of spare parts! Clever door! Kudos!
I like your pics and write up. The coop is cute as a button. Since this was built about 5 years ago I'm sure you've figured out the mistakes. It's a learning experience isn't it? Has been for me. But for anyone reading this here's what IMHO needs to change. The coop is only big enough for 2 birds (4sqft/bird). The run isn't big enough for 1 (10sqft/bird) unless you are free ranging. Water shouldn't be inside especially in a tiny coop. Moisture can cause problems with health which leads to my next point. Ventilation should not be below. Interior should be draft free, starting with nests at the lowest points, roosts higher than nests to prevent them sleeping in the nests, and ventilation at the top, positioned higher than the birds heads when they are roosting so there us no direct draft on them. You're right, heat rises, carrying moisture up with it. Chicken poop has a lot of of moisture. If the warm moist air has nowhere to go it will condense making the chickens damp. This can lead to respiratory problems, also frostbite if weather is cold. I'd love to see any updates so I can give more stars. This coop was built with love and good intentions.

Decent first attempt, bravo. It has been mentioned but it's really critical. You need WAY more ventilation
Have a look around here and you'll see some great examples. And yes, the nest should be low. Basically vents should be well above their heads as they roost, roosts should be higher than nests to prevent roosting and sleeping in the nests. You mentioned concern about enough room. The formula is 4sq ft per bird inside NOT including nests, 10 sq ft per bird in the run. Good luck!

My head is spinning! Funky!
Fabulous write up.
Sound construction.
The only reason I didn't give 5 stars is because I don't see any ventilation in place for bad weather days and at night when windows need to be closed.
