This is s by far my favorite coop and article. Love love love it! So well written I understood everything (well, almost everything) and could appreciate all the thought and artistry that went into this magnificent structure. In my eyes, you win. :celebrate

Great colors and beautiful birds. My only concern here was the dimensions of the coop, standard being 4sqft/bird, means it is sufficient for 4 birds. The run, standard being 10sqft/bird, fits 6 or 7 birds.

Perfect coop AND run dimensions for 10 birds! If chicken math hits you will need to extend, but, HEY, you are an experienced carpenter now! I love that you explained your mistakes and lessons learned, especially the one that says just cuz ya never built doesn't mean you can't. KUDOS! :clap
