I was considering getting backyard ducks, and this article was just the nudge I needed.

I'm going to go with this general design for my new coop.

This just went to the top of my weekly to-do list.

It's all a bit paranoia inducing, but very good info to have.

Most of my past flocks have been made up misfit or rescue hens, and some of the trial and error phase of flock integration got pretty messy and was quite stressful to both the chickens and me. It took me a long time to learn that sometimes the slow way is the fastest way.
