If you've ordered eggs on line and don't know if Mareks is a possibility, or your own flock has Mareks and you are hatching your own eggs, this article will help you sterilize your eggs to help keep the chicks safe at hatch. Wonderful job Debbie!

Excellent article to bring attention to the need for extra protein during molting season. I have seen huge differences in feather growth on years I add extra protein to their diet, especially from the meat category. Lots of amino acids and omegas in meat that aren't present in plant based foods. Wonderful job!

Interesting article! We have mountain lions here too, I've even seen them waltz right through the yard in broad daylight! Be mindful of your surroundings at all times and never try to tangle with one, quietly move away if you come near one.

Thank you for such a helpful article. I understand how difficult this must have been on you, :hugs I too had a female Bobwhite that contracted West Nile from a mosquito bite. She struggled for 6 months with neurological and hepatitis symptoms. She eventually recovered but it was iffy at times. Great article!
This is such a great idea! Thanks for sharing this great info!

Beautiful coop, wonderful job!
I too never looked at sharing eggs like this. I do know giving my own eggs away sure has made a lot of people happy, not at all like buying eggs in the grocery store. Lets all share our eggs! Wonderful article!

I had no idea Sage was safe for chickens! Sage grows wild around here and I have seen the nibble on it but quickly leave it. Love the facts on this plant, great article!
