simple, effective and agree with others about quantity of water- if larger flock then fine, for me (6 birds) probably a smaller bucket or a brick inside the bucket to take up some volume is better & help with use/ care. thanks for sharing this one!

I like it, I think in Winter (CA) I will put a horse trough heater in it, or put a salt water filled bottle in and it will bop around, not allowing it to freeze. Thanks!!
