This is a "Chicken Condo" I initially built for my blind chicken. It has two levels- top is more enclosed for shelter from weather. In winter I put plastic up around it except for on door. The bottom is dirt so the chickens can dust bath. The top floor is all wood with shavings. The ramp from bottom to top has a trap door that can be closed at the top to make it two condos. I also have it divided on top into two parts- with a door that can be closed inside. This enables the condo to be in three parts- all seperate or I can open the doors and make it one so it's interchangeable. The roof is rubber roofing. Right now I have my blind hen and three quails that get along great.
