'Sir. Cocky Craps A Lot the Sebright.'
Sir. Cocky is a very naughty rooster. He started out like so many young chicks, sweet as can be and so adorable. He has ended on a sour note though. His tiny frame and springy legs allows him to leap right into the air and try to spur your eyes out!
Sir, Cocky Craps A Lot got his name because he is so darn cocky, and he likes to poo. He poos on the porch, he poos on the lawn, he even poos on the dog! For such a tiny rooster, he sure is full of big poo!
He isn't all bad though. You see, Sir, Cocky fell in love with our bantam Rhode Island red hen. They live together in their own pen with another bantam hen. We look forward to hatching their eggs this year as everyone said they should have beautiful babies. The babies will be used as pickled egg producers! We sure do love those pickled eggs.
Sebrights have the most beautiful lacing on their hard feathers.

Even though he is mean, this little sebright is so much fun to watch. He is a wonderful forager and is quick to alert the other hens to danger. I look forward to purchasing more sebrights in the near future. I think they can easily find a place on a sustainable homestead.
