We had very little snow this winter, but all went well anyway. The birds seem to spend the majority of their time in the run too.
I only used the plywood panels on the north side. The birds freaked out with the west side on and I could not watch
them from inside with them on so they were left off. Very little snow have gotten in anyway and the birds tolerated snow pretty well.
Never used the light this winter and hasn't effected their egg production. I did buy a plastic heated waterer for the
winter, I have been I little nervous about it being on the fragile side, but no problems.
Fan seems to be working fine, litter has been dry anyway.
I do throw a hand full of scratch feed nearly every day, they keep the litter well turned over too.
They have been tolarating the snow well. 2-3" of the white stuff, they free-range.
