I have a metal cat litter scoop but have the same problem. I'm picking up a strainer the next time I'm at Wally World. Thanks, IM!

I still use a regular scoop for the big stuff daily, this one about every other day just for the fine stuff that gets left behind. I wouldn't convert, add to what you have.
