1 chicken, roaster preferably
3 (12-oz.) bottle your favorite beer, we use MGD
1/2 c. soy sauce
2 tsp. ginger powder
Find a big enough pail to hold chicken with lots of room to spare. Pour in beer, soy sauce, ginger. Set chicken breast side down in the liquid. Marinate overnight in refrigerator. Preheat oven to 350°. Remove chicken from liquid, DO NOT RINSE! Place in dutch oven or any other roaster with a lid you prefer, put lid on and bake until wings and legs pull away from body easily. Usually an hour.
Note: Add hot sauce to marinade to taste if you like, add green onions to cavity of chicken for more interesting flavors.
