Homemade brooder/Hatcher

More build details, pictures of the building process, and a list of materials used would improve this article.
I'd love to see more details on how the box was built
The brooder will not need a light for heat unless the outside temperature goes below freezing.

The article needs more details on how the hatcher part works

Yes, sorry I wasn’t clear. I have a small incubator which fits into the smaller compartment. Once hatched & dry the chicks go under the brooder and then the small compartment is used to hold the chicks while the other side is being cleaned. The bulb is just extra for cold days. When we built the box we didn’t know we didn’t need all that heat but it does come in handy on colder days.
That looks like an excellent piece of craftsmanship! Four stars for that.
But a Brooder/Hatcher combination? How do you maintain the high humidity, necessary for hatching?
And is the lamp used for light or for heat? - Because you also have a heat-pad inside the brooder part. That is a very interesting combination, i have seen Incubator/Hatcher combos. Please give us more details and more pictures! Thank you very much in advance.

Sorry I should have made it more clear - We have a small incubator which fits into the left compartment. Once they hatch & dry we move them over to the brooder. When the incubator is finished with we use that compartment for placing the chicks while we clean the other side. We live in Ireland and the weather isn’t great at the best of times so the heat lamp is mainly used for colder days and also when weaning the chicks off the constant heat of the brooder, before introducing them to the outdoors. The box has made everything easier for us
