How To Make a Thread on BYC

This is a short guide to help some of the newer members on here create a thread! There's a couple of these on here already, but this guide is for people who use a mobile (like me)! So all screenshots are to help members using the desktop-mobile site........if that makes sense? Anyways, here are the step by step instructions!

STEP 1
You should be at the BYC Homepage. You'll see three horizontal lines in the top left corner. Click those!


STEP 2
Click on 'Forums'


STEP 3
And, funny enough, you'll be taken to the FORUMS! There are loads of different sections here, from Raising Baby Chicks to Games, Jokes and Fun.


STEP 4
Let's say I need help with hatching some eggs. I'd click on the Incubating & Hatching Eggs section of the forums.


STEP 5
As you can see, there is a Hatch-a-Longs Sub-Forum. But I need to post a thread in the main forums!


STEP 6
Click the blue 'Post New Thread' rectangle. It's hard to miss


STEP 7
Give your thread a name and type in what you want. Make sure to include any important details that could be useful to experts helping you


STEP 7
The awesome thing with BYC is you can add a POLL to your thread!! Here's an example:

When you're happy with everything, click on 'Create Thread'. There are also options to 'Upload File' and 'Preview', but I don't need to do those


STEP 9
Now your thread is on the forums! Well done!
