I have been chicken addicted since the morning of March 12th 2012 that is when I got my first 7 chicks from Tractor Supply I got 6 Production Red's and one Ameraucana. Later that day we went back to get a smaller water jug we did come back home with another water jug but we got a little something extra, 3 more chicks, 1 more Production red and 2 more Ameraucans by the 15th of march we had 33 chicks all from Tractor Supply, 11 out of those 33 were roosters we took 9 of those to a local auction, we kept 2 roosters 1 Silver Duckwing Old English Game Bantam and 1 Lavender Cochin. On May 2nd we went to a local hatchery "Poultry Hollow Hatchery" (Never again will we go there, can read my thread about them and what I experienced https://www.backyardchickens.com/t/...-hollow-hatchery-chick-growth-chart-pic-heavy ) and got 24 chicks from there one died 6 days later, it was weak from the time we got it so now the total of chicks is 47 and on July 5th we got one more pullet she is the same age as the chicks we got from Poultry Hollow.
