Miss Ezzells Squash Pie

    1 cup boiled squash
    1/2 cup sugar
    1/2 stick butter or margarine
    3 lg. eggs
    1 tsp. vanilla
    3 tbsp milk
    1 dash salt
    1 store-prepared pie shell

    Cooking Instructions

    Mix all ingredients with mixer, adding eggs last. Bake at 350 degrees for 45 minutes, or until golden brown. Let cool for 5-10 minutes and then serve warm. Can also be refrigerated and eaten cold on a hot day. Can be served as side dish or a dessert.
