Purplegoannas Chicken Brooder

Clever idea, but I think this will need more ventilation.

Using the dimmer and the smaller bulb is good, but this brooder is tiny and ill-ventilated.

The article could be updated to include a brooder plate.

The brooder may need more ventilation, some holes drilled into the bottom sides would do it

More detail would be better and the small cut out in the lid would concern me. Seems it may possibly get too hot in there.

I would like to see it in use... I also think you need more ventilation for the chicks, do you have a grow out pen too? Love the clean looks of this brooder though

I definitely like the elegance of the build, just want to understand more of why you did what you did and how well it worked!
