I love the upcycling ideas of old furniture! I agree with the heat plate vs light as well. I would also like to see pictures of it in use and an update about how you found the functionality of it!

What a beautiful repurchased brooder! Like others, I believe a brooder plate or mama heating pad would be much better than a heat lamp. Otherwise, I'm impressed.

I like the reuse of a dresser and the finished product looks appealing. As previous reviewer said, maybe a heat lamp is too much for the space.

Nice use of recycled material. What does concern me though is there does not seem to be much room for the chicks to go cool down? Maybe this brooder would be better with a heat plate rather than lamps?
