I'm glad you enjoyed it! I tried to not to go overboard with detail because I wanted it to be straight to the point with organized info.
My roo was sweet, didn't crow much but now is attacking me, runs up from behind, and draws blood, several times, goes for my feet every morning as i let him and 2 hens out to roam, has attacked my chihuahua several times as he's retreating, got in with a broody and flung her chick around, i have a rehome offer that i now feel i have to take as i have 3 under 5 granddaughters, it put me off roos, ill reconsider now and keep any hatchling that is male, i don't know his history as bought at auction, maybe raising my own will be better ? Tamer , handled more ?
Thank you i will definitely reconsider
the information is good and I also like the personal stories.
I was not able to see the pictures, not sure if it is just my browser.

Thank you for sharing an honest view on an often misunderstood subject
I really like the pros and cons of owning a rooster being listed, as well as the author sharing their personal experience.

I'm glad you liked it! But I see that you gave it 3 out of 5 stars. What should be improved?

Very informative, yet easy to read & understand.View attachment 1427923
This was Tucker; super tame when he came here, but turned nasty when he matured. We came to an "understanding", and he was no longer a problem, but I always kept an eye on him, just in case.

He looks beautiful! We had that experience with a few boys too. They go through a spike of testosterone as they mature. Many will calm down after that, thank goodness!
Thanks for posting this article.
