Sourcream Beef Frenchbread

    1 pound of hamburger /or turkey burger
    1 tomato chopped
    1 yellow, red or green bell pepper chopped (optinal)
    2 c. Sour Cream
    A dash of garlic salt for taste
    1 loaf of french bread sliced
    Shredded Cheddar cheese ( or any kind you like)

    Cooking Instructions

    Take meat and cook it at medium temperture until brown, turn down heat, then take your sour cream add to meat.

    Let it warm up then add your chopped tomatoes and bell pepper until soft, while that's cooking slice your french bread and place onto a cookie sheet. Turn the oven on at 350 F .

    When everything is down take the mixture scoop onto french bread, then add the cheese to it just enough to cover the mixture. Then add your garlic salt onto the mixture
    Put into oven and cook for about 5 minutes until cheese it melted... Enjoy alone cause its a meal in one basically . Or put a side dish of green beans ..

    I tried this and it was a great. The only modifications I did was add onion (no peppers) and scooped out some the french bread insides to make a "boat" and filled it with the meat mixture. Thanks for sharing a quick and easy recipe. With the days being so short this makes life coming home from work so much easier. herefordlovinglady
