Welcome to Riverside Flock, a tightly-knit community of chickens and ducks residing near the Missouri River, hence our name! Here at Riverside Flock, we prioritize poultry health, welfare, and care, always ensuring that our chickens and ducks are well-cared for, are getting the right nutrients, and feel comfortable living on our property!
Meet Our Flock!
We have the following chickens residing in our chicken coop:
3 Rhode Island Red & Easter Egger Barnyard Mixes
1 Sapphire Gem & Easter Egger Barnyard Mix
1 White Easter Egger
1 Barred Rock
1 Easter Egger & Welsummer Barnyard Mix
2 Sapphire Gems
1 Easter Egger Rooster
1 Buff Orpington Pullet Hen
1 Barred Rock Pullet Hen
We also have three friendly American Pekin ducks with their own separate run and mini coop. Our two pullet hens are living with our ducks until they're old enough to be properly socialized into the main flock in a few weeks!
We've had chickens since summer of 2020, and have learned many things along the way! I hope that you'll be able to learn tips and tricks about raising poultry from me, and I'll also be able to learn from you!
