Just a simple yes or no answer will do. I'm just very curious about a rough estimate of the percentage of folks using heating devices in their coops...

Yes - I have 4 chicken heaters (I think about 50-60 watts each) and 1 water heater (60 watts), thermostatically controlled. Tonight it is 3 F outside, and 25 F inside the coop -- proof that chicken heaters work!
The chicken heaters look like this: (the lights are just LED lights, they don't produce any heat)

Nope, and actually, since they are in a tractor, my chicken heaters heat all just go up and out of their choice sleeping spots... outside the hutch!!
Sure do! It's only _21 below zero F. outside right now, but I know that my "girls" are all nice and cozy warm inside, tucked up in their beds!
