today i get to pick up 30 Leghorn eggs from MSU in Lansing. $10 and 90% fertility rate.

this should be a fun January project! i'll update as i go.

the eggs are a really nice large and jumbo sizes. going to rest them and set in the morning.

the bator is 100 degrees and the humidity is almost perfect!

yep, i'll keep y'all posted! it was so cheap, i couldn't pass up trying. the poultry farm manager at MSU said he will hook me up with a bunch of quail eggs too!

lots of pics promised. i will take some of the eggs tomorrow a.m. when i set them. (and one from my crazy mutt, Dolly!)
 
What kind incubabtor you got there..I like..good luck on your eggs..I just bought 10+ BLACK AUSTRALORP hatching eggs to go with my many other that got that was not going to have..was only going small and seems to be growing all the time..
