While I wait for the doctors office to open?

I triped over the darn dog and fell and broke my foot. I dislocated/broke a couple of toes and they are bleeding a little. The paramedics came and tut tutted and put a ballooon splint on. Now I have to wait for the office to open, the dr. doesn't know how to run the xray machine so they have to wait for staff to come in. They could see me at 8:45 or there abouts. I doubt they can set the bone /relocate the toes either. So I have 2.5 hours until step 2.
 
Sorry to hear about your injuries! Do you have an urgent care center there? Ours will xray, read and set bones if needed. It's one stop shopping.
 
No i live on an island. very pretty, very romantic. Nothing much here, there is an airlift if you are seriously injured enough for that, but this is not life threatening. The next ferry off island is ( the first on this morning) is in an hour, but taking it wouldn't get me an x-ray any faster.

Ouch! I'm so sorry to hear that you hurt yourself so badly. That must have been a horrible fall.

Did you hurt anything else? Scrape up your hands or knees?
 
Orcas. Yeh I just sit here at home untlil everyone has had their breakfast. then when the offices open I can go on in. I'm going to go out to the car and drive myself in for a latte in a little bit. he opens at 7 or 730. I can get a latte much easier than medical care... Actually since i have seen the paramedics not quite true, but sort of funny anyhow.
 
Redfeathers , it could have been worse I could have fallen on the dog instead of the stairs and sqished it. I have gained some weight , I should be posting to that workout post I saw.
 
OW!! I hope it all turns out ok. Look its another case of bumble foot!

sorry, you broke your foot.. but at least you broke it while the weather is still crappy. You'll be all healed up and rearing to go when Spring arrives
