I thought it would be fun to start a thread showing off what we are so proud of....Come On Fellow Meat Raisers...

Show Us What You've Got!!!!

After a bit of a dirt bath.

Ok...Your Turn!!!!!

Did I put this in the wrong forum?

I know there is a forum for showing off your Pics...

I just figured the "Meat Birds ETC" is one of those forums that stand on there own.....

Anyway...if I did.. I'll moved it over.

After reading thousands of threads I've come to the conclusion that majority of the members use there chickens for layers and pets...

This Post may encourage those who would like to try raising them...but find themselves staying away from the Cornish X because they see them as a hassle, frustrating, a waist of money and or a heartache.

I'm looking for those proud people who raise the meaties and are not having multiple problems with them....

I beleive it would help others when you post your pics to add a few tips on what brought you to the point of achieving success.

Thank You,

Here are our fatties!!

They have no other problems, and when its snack time they some running with the rest. they are 11weeks are doing great, other than the balding. We also have other birds and none of them have balding spots, don't know if its bulling or something else. any thoughts would be helpful

Cornish X are notorious for bald patches, don't worry!

These are my "meaties". I'm not raising them for meat but I'm proud to show them off anyway! Here are my two 7 month old girls, George and Greta.
