Some day will have Zane up here, too. Isaac's may change and/or deepen some, since he's just 21 weeks old now.


***For those who don't know, Suede is a huge Blue Orpington, Dutch a Barred Plymouth Rock and Isaac is a Delaware. Zane is Dutch's older brother.

All three of them have different crows and different pitches.

Suede is more deeper but less diagram-ey.

Dutch sounded like he is a young roo!
 
I wish I could get the recording off my phone, my blue orp (hatched from the egg you sent me

) has a very deep crow.
 
I'm so happy you still have him! I adore Seude's crow. Dutch's crow just kills me with that last screaming syllable and I think Isaac's will be better as he matures more, but I do like it. Hawkeye had a perfect 4 syllable crow with the proper inflection and Zane's is probably the most like his daddy's of all the boys I kept from Hawkeye.

Suede, your range is really impressive but you don't have that star quality we're looking for.
Dutch, that reminded me of my cat when he had bronchitis.
Isaac, I though your performance was a little too "karaoke" for this stage.

But seriously, speckledhen, I enjoyed hearing them and thanks for sharing. I was making fun of Simon and Idol.
