I heard the dogs barking so i an out side to find my turken big P's feather all over the place. i would have never know it was her until i saw the contents of her crop on the wall. She was out eairler and was eating the grass thats how i know it was her. I found her in the back corner under my coop. I found this:

Someone please help me. i can see inside her crop. Whatever it was ripped her crop open. Please this was one of my first chickens and i cant just let her die.

look at the crop surgery page... that's all I can think of. I've never had experience with crops getting ripped open. Try calling the vet? A bird vet should know how to fix a crop.
Besides that I have no other suggestions.

There was a thread around somewhere - where someone had to cut open the crop to remove stuff, and sewed it back up!!!
I'll start looking for it!

Man, oh Man! Do you think you could sew it closed? It must be the beginning of the season for tragedies. Please somebody help with some sort of emergency advice. Do you have a vet you can call or get to really fast? Don't give up unless and until it's over is my motto. I think I'd try to stitch it closed.
