your mom has to have a sewing kit ask her like you need to mend somthing and you are being a responsible person and sowing it up then take her needles and thread and follow the instructions.

Clean the wound porixide or alchohal or what ever you have.

Steralize the needle with a match.

then take the skin and pull it together and Sow it close toghether and sow closed.

if you really can't get her to a vet or do it yourself I would suggest euthanazia or getting your aperantly uncaring family to do it for you.

My mom would only let me keep my chicks in my room do you have a shed or somthing like that or even a dog crate if you don't do anything she will die a painful death so either put her down or work with what you have got.

At the very least flush the wound with warm water. Do you have something like a syringe without a needle to gently force clean, warm water in the area. Wrap towels as someone said to keep from getting the whole bird soaking wet. Run a flame over a needle. Get someone to go to your nearest neighbor where an older woman lives to loan you a medium size sewing needle and a preferably new spool of thread. Sanatize you hands - put on some rubber gloves if you have them. Bite the bullet and sew her closed! Then you can pour a small amount of diluted hydrogen peroxide in the area and coat it with an antibiotic ointment. Can someone rush to a drug store for you and get you some things you need? Is anybody there with you?

I will try and sew it but i would have to do it outside. My garage is full of quads and dirtbikes. so she cant go there. The only place she could go is in the barn but it gets cold at night in there.
