Hello everyone in the (Greater) Bay Area!
In the mood for some chicken chat? What about maybe swapping some of your birds for some others that you've had your eye on for awhile?
Myself and cherylcohen are beginning to brainstorm ideas for the Bay Area Meet Up/Chicken Swap!
Many of you will probably recall the Northern California Chickenstock, I heard it was a great event! Unfortunately for me it was a bit too far out of the way to attend, I know this was the case for many other folks here in the Bay as well. So we're getting together to organize our own hang out and want everyone in the San Francisco Bay Area to attend!
Here's what we've got so far: (this will be updated periodically)
What: The Bay Area Meet Up/Chicken Swap, we'd like to do this pot luck/barbeque style anybody an excellent griller?
Where: cherylcohen's house in Lafayette.
When: Sunday October 10th, from 11 AM to 3 PM.
Who Will Be Attending?

Food & drinks.
Considering that this will be a potluck style event, we'd like everyone to try and bring their favorite dish or beverage to the meet. Please leave whatever you would like to bring to eat/drink as a reply to the thread. I will then record the responses here with your username.

Other necessary items.
So you don't want to bring something to eat, that's okay! We also will need things like disposable plates and utensils, chairs and canopies (in case there aren't many trees in the general vicinity) barbeque supplies (grill, charcoal, etc.) and a whole mess of other things I'm sure. If this seems like something you would like to do please post what you would like to bring as a reply to the thread. I'll record the responses here with your username like I did with the food.
