Emergency Please Help *Update on Prolapsed Vent *

My pullet has her first egg sitting oustide of her body with a blood casing around it. she looks like she is in a lot of pain please help!!!!!!!

What do i do she is in a lot of pain and its freaking me out
 
I am no expert and have never delt with this.



Get her in a warm bath, and gently feel around the prolapsed egg. It is most probably stuck between folds and needs lubrication to help pass correctly - hoping that the tissue is not too dried out.


Do you have any type of lube - KY or even veggie/olive oil? Use this to lube her bottom area up really well to help prevent any more tissue damage and tissue dry-out.

I believe there was a thread on here with a chicken like this - the owner had to cut an opening for the egg. I will see if I can find it.
