Something must not be right? he is a puff ball.. anyone know why?? or what this means.. and he didnt flinch when I picked him up.. he was just like frozen. I could have sworn he was frozen stiff.. but he wasnt.. what is this??what to do???
No wheezing, no runny nose, when he tries to walk now.. which he seems to refuse too.. he begins to lean a little to the left and I noticed that foot curls when he puts weight on it.. stool has been normal/ I did treat for worms my whole flock the past few days- so they all got the water- and I used safeguard, none of the other chickens are showing any signs of this

Just now when he went poo- it was watery clear.. with a little reddish color? but not bloody .. like a solid thing of blood or anything,
He lives outside with all other chickens/ in his coop and has lots of grass and outdoor areas to get into.. so yes his official hatch date was March 22nd.. so he was now 6 weeks old?

Anyone.. please tell me what I should do.. and what this could mean?

There is a sticky at the top of the Emergency section that includes some helpful information you could add to your post. He sure doesn't look like he feels well. Sorry!

Good thinking, Harris5. Like how long has he been that way? Do you know if he is eating or drinking? All the others fine? Maybe these answers will help someone with more experience know what's wrong! Poor thing.

Could it be cold, do you have a heat lamp. I am not sure how old it is. I see mine do that when they are broody or cold.

Is it suppose to feel all mushy in the lower neck of a chicken???????????????????

Okay, so I felt on his neck.. and it mushy.. right above the chest.. I guess.. sorry I am so new to chickens..
he is 6 weeks old ... all other chickens no issues
so I just got back from TBall with my son.. I kept him in a box in my house.. but went out to check on the other chickens.. and they all felt hard... in the lower neck region, unlike him/ also/ its like a bone thing I feel sticking up and then all mushy???

I did check out this link.. you mentioned. Airsac..

I palpated.. and it feels like a boney thing and then all super mushy???????????? just looked at his poo in the box.. and pretty normal with the white stuff

I also did/ safeguard deworming in my chicken coop area with all the chickens the last couple of days... could this be a factor? none of the chickens have this look.. and when feeling under their neck areas.. upper chest.. whatever that area is.. its all hard.. his is super mushy???
